Max Royde

I am the CEO of Kestrel Partners, a UK small cap asset manager, and lead the Investment Committee with Co-Founder Oliver Scott. In addition to my leadership activities for the firm overall, I am responsible for sourcing investment ideas and structuring the most suitable vehicles for new investments, whilst also driving the strategic improvement of investee companies – both as a minority investor and board member.

I currently hold board positions for portfolio companies – Pulsar Group plc, Team Internet Group plc and holding companies within the group that owns IQGeo Group Limited (a private company) – as well as having a directorship at Findlay Park. I have held over a dozen directorships in total.

I have a deep understanding of software and services companies and have strong relationships with institutional investors focused on the UK tech sector – both public and private.

I was previously a Managing Director at Peel Hunt, running the Technology franchise, with 25+ years of experience. Previously, I was an Officer in the British Army.
