Iona Byers

Iona joined Kestrel in October 2024 as Middle Office and Compliance Associate and was appointed Head of Operations and Operational Compliance in May 2026. In this role, Iona is responsible for daily trading operations and associated client and regulatory reporting, alongside supporting compliance surveillance and monitoring.

Iona graduated from the University of Aberdeen, with First Class Honours in Business Management, and went on to gain experience in settlement operations and static data management prior to joining Kestrel.
