Kestrel strengthens partnership
We are pleased to announce that Chris Errington, Seb White, and David Prance have all joined and acquired stakes in the managing partnership of Kestrel Partners (‘Kestrel’).
Max Royde and Oliver Scott, Kestrel’s co-founders and joint Managing Partners, welcome the added financial commitment of the enlarged senior team at Kestrel.

Chris Errington remains Head of Research at Kestrel, responsible for research and modelling in support of portfolio strategies, and reviewing technical reporting, due diligence and regulatory compliance across Kestrel’s portfolio and target companies. He represents Kestrel on the Board of Pebble Beach Systems Group plc and is also charged with implementing Kestrel’s Responsible Investment Policy within its ESG-guided investment decision-making process. He joined Kestrel in 2015, and was previously CFO/CEO of Gresham Technologies plc.
Seb White is Investment Director at Kestrel, undertaking research on portfolio companies and the business critical software industry as well as evaluating potential investments. Seb represents Kestrel on the Board of Ingenta plc. Prior to joining Kestrel in 2017, Seb was Head of Corporate Development at AIM-listed Alternative Networks plc, where he led on business planning matters, M&A, commercial due diligence and acquisition integration.
David Prance is Chief Financial Officer and Head of Compliance at Kestrel, responsible for the company’s finances as well as all day-to-day compliance and operational matters. Prior to joining Kestrel in 2015, David was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer at a London-based hedge fund management firm.
Ari Zaphiriou-Zarifi, co-founder of Kestrel, continues to have an active role in the business, sitting on the Investment Committee and providing advice and guidance on Kestrel’s strategic growth plans.
